The next meeting of the AES Melbourne Section will be held on Monday 16th March 2020 at 7:30pm at The SAE Institute – Lecture Theatre, 235 Normanby Rd South Melbourne (Enter via Woodgate St – directions below).

In Recording Production & Reproduction

Alex will provide an introduction into 3D Audio Recording, Production and Reproduction possibilities. Attendees will get an understanding of which recording options are available and how they impact the result of their work

About Alex Schloeesser:

Alex is CEO and MD of AS Audio, based in Singapore.
He has been a Sound Engineer, Sales Engineer and also a Sales Manager / Director for Pro Audio Products with an International business experience, gained over 28 years in International Distribution of Pro Audio Products and also in Product Development and System Design work for large Scale installations.
Since Relocation to Asia (Singapore), Alex has built a strong local network in the region.

Previously he has worked as Head of Audio and Sound Engineer for more than 12,500 TV shows, providing technical support as well as mixing. His team supplied, installed, and serviced sound systems in a larger number of venues and ran the respective productions over this period of time.

His previous company Alex Schloesser GBHM has also worked as a System Integrator on major projects across the globe, including the United Nations European Media Centre headquarters, and the Holy Mosque in Mekkah.

Alex has also worked in live sound over 20 years, participating in many rock and roll tours as both FOH Engineer, and Systems Tech.

Directions:  Entry to SAE is via the Students’ Entry, now located on Woodgate St (at rear of building). 
Please report to the Supervisor’s Desk at this entry, and you will be directed to the Lecture Theatre (upstairs in the rear of the building).
