The next online meeting of the AES Melbourne Section will be held on Monday 13th February 2023 at 7:30pm – via Zoom.
Former Studios 301 Engineering Manager and local AES Section Committee Member David Hudson will present on the topic of:
Increasing interest in analogue tape recording and vinyl records is driving the demand for vintage tape recorders.
Our February meeting is planned for Mon 13th February.

It will be a Zoom session, where David Hudson will regale us with tales of his adventures in restoring and format converting a couple of Studer A80 machines: a 1/2″ 4-Track MR MK II converted to 2-Track MK IV, and a 1-inch C-format video layback recorder converted to 8-Track MK IV.
I am sure it will be a most interesting evening, and of immense value to anyone who has an interest in keeping vintage analog hardware operating in these modern times.
