Wireless Microphones – current technologies

Wireless microphones have continued to evolve since their introduction in 1957.
The latest developments see a wide range of different approaches to delivering a quality audio link with reliability and ease of operation. Systems today offer “no operator intervention”, uncompressed full CD quality digital audio, FM, QPSK and FSK modulation, and tiny form factors not much bigger than an XLR connector.
James and Jason will explore some of the different technologies employed for wireless audio transmission and cover off the latest developments in spectrum affairs for wireless microphones.
